Nau mai, haere mai ki Konaki, Welcome to Konaki, where we embody the spirit of "Konaki" – to support and embrace – through our innovative partnership with Te Kura Pakihi, the University of Otago Māori Business School.

Launched in 2018, our initiative is dedicated to empowering Māori business students by providing them the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world business settings.

Konaki has been designed to connect students' skills with startup projects, offering a platform where academic theories are tested and applied practically. This not only helps students enhance their capabilities but also drives forward the businesses they collaborate with.

The Konaki Research project, integral to our programme, continually assesses the impact of these engagements, ensuring that the educational experiences are aligned with the evolving needs of the industry.Through this research, we have seen significant advancements in student confidence and the relevancy of their skills in the marketplace, alongside the accelerated progress of startups involved.
